Deputy director of The Bureau of Economic Operations under NDRC NiuJianguo express his own opinions about the international giants have entered the domestic cement industry, to acquisition or equity participation in domestic cement enterprises:
Niu Jianguo said, in the early 1980s, foreign invest cement projects in China, recently began to holding ,shares, such as joint ventures, foreign-controlled smaller share of the cement production, the total does not exceed 5% , any foreign-funded enterprises can’t turned to a monopoly and the overall impact. Not too anxious for foreign activists, the relevant states departments will be paying close attention to, and actively guide and regulate.
