Chinese tile facing South Korea Trade Commission anti-dumping investigation |

The Ministry of Commerce released yesterday, the Fair Trade Bureau, the Korea Trade Commission has decided on ceramic tiles imported from China initiated an anti-dumping investigation. The survey was conducted by the Korea launched four tiles enterprise application on the grounds that China is dumping tiles in Korea at a low price, the damage to the development of Korean tiles, caused a heavy blow to the South Korean territory. According to the Customs data show that in 2004 China exports of these products to South Korea amounted to 58.66 million U.S. dollars, covering mainly enterprises in Guangdong Foshan, and also Shanghai , Shandong and Hebei provinces in China . So far in 2001, Chinese tiles and other ceramic products was prevented in India , Mexico , the Philippines and Egypt which some of the punitive anti-dumping duty as high as 200%, Chinese ceramic tiles declined these markets.
